Concrete Floors

Garage floors, warehouse and workshop floors, and interior slabs for new construction: we pour flat, hard-wearing concrete floors with the finish you need, from smooth troweled to broom finish, ready for coatings or polishing.

How we build floors

Interior floors demand flatness and a dense, closed surface. We place the slab on a compacted base with a vapor barrier, reinforce it, and finish it with power trowels for a smooth, hard surface. Joints are cut early to control shrinkage cracking.

If you plan an epoxy coating or polished finish, we prepare the slab accordingly: correct moisture barrier, no curing compounds that interfere with adhesion, and a finish that suits the final product.

Floor projects

  • Garage and workshop floors (new or replacement)
  • Warehouse, shop and light industrial floors
  • Interior slabs for new homes and additions
  • Floors prepared for epoxy, polishing or tile
  • Replacing heaved, cracked or settled interior slabs

Why homeowners and businesses choose TCP Concrete

Flat and level

Power-trowel finishing and careful screeding give a surface ready for coatings, racking or tile.

Built for heavy use

Reinforced slabs and proper joints stand up to vehicles, forklifts and equipment.

Moisture controlled

Vapor barriers and correct curing reduce the moisture problems that ruin coatings.

Our process

  1. Free on-site estimate. We measure, check drainage and access, and discuss finishes. You receive a written, itemized estimate.
  2. Permits and scheduling. We tell you whether a permit or HOA approval is needed and handle the paperwork.
  3. Demolition and base. Old concrete is removed, the sub-base is compacted and forms are set to drain.
  4. Reinforcement and pour. Steel goes in, concrete is placed, finished and jointed.
  5. Curing and walkthrough. We protect the new concrete while it cures and walk the finished job with you.

Frequently asked questions

Can you replace just the damaged part of my garage floor?

Yes, if the rest of the slab is sound. We saw-cut the damaged area, rebuild the base and pour a matching section with reinforcement tied into the existing slab.

How soon can a floor be coated or polished?

Most coatings require the concrete to cure for at least 28 days and to pass a moisture test. We can schedule the floor so the coating contractor can follow.

Do you do polished concrete?

We pour and finish the slab to the flatness and density polishing requires and coordinate with your polishing contractor; ask us about the finish you want.
